EMS Lecture Series on Mathematics Education

The European Mathematical Society is thrilled to announce its Lecture Series on Mathematics Education uniting leading experts to explore critical issues and innovative approaches in mathematics teaching, curriculum design, and policy making. These engaging one-hour webinars will occur on the second Friday of each month from January to June 2026 at 7:00 PM CET and will be moderated by Tom Crawford.

The Jaroslav and Barbara Zemánek Prize in functional analysis with emphasis on operator theory for 2025 is awarded to Alexandros Eskenazis (CNRS, Institut de Mathématiques de Jussieu, Sorbonne Université) in recognition of his outstanding contributions to metric and convex geometry, achieved through functional-analytic methods, and, in particular, for breakthrough results advancing the Ribe program.
