EMS signs reciprocity agreements with Brazilian and South African mathematical societies

Brazil Agreement Signing

The European Mathematical Society has signed new reciprocity agreements with the Brazilian Mathematical Society (SBM) and the South African Mathematical Society (SAMS), strengthening its links with the mathematical communities in both countries.

Reciprocity agreements enable members of the partner societies to join the EMS at a reduced membership fee, while EMS members can likewise benefit from reduced membership fees when joining the partner societies.

A full list of societies with reciprocity agreements with the EMS is available on the EMS reciprocity members page.

The agreements reflect the EMS's commitment to fostering international cooperation and strengthening connections between mathematical communities in Europe and beyond.

The EMS looks forward to developing its collaboration with both societies in the years ahead.
