SwissMAP Research Station 2028 call is open for proposals
Applications are open for conferences, workshops and outreach activities to be held at the SwissMAP Research Station in Les Diablerets, Switzerland, in 2028. The submission deadline is 10 October 2026.
The SwissMAP Research Station (SRS) hosts international conferences and targeted workshops in mathematics and theoretical physics. Based in Les Diablerets in the Swiss Alps, the Station is a joint venture between the University of Geneva and ETH Zurich.
For its 2028 programme, SRS is inviting proposals for conferences, workshops and outreach activities.
Selected events can receive subsidies of up to CHF 20,000, covering full board and accommodation for five days for approximately 18 participants in single rooms, or slightly more with shared accommodation. Travel costs are not covered. Organisers of larger events are expected to secure additional funding and/or charge participation fees to cover additional costs.
Events normally run from Monday morning until Friday after lunch, with accommodation and dinner on the preceding Sunday included.
SRS places particular importance on equal opportunities and the participation of women among organisers, speakers and participants. Applicants are also encouraged to consider the environmental impact of their proposed event.
