The 8thInternational Conference on Control and Optimization with Industrial Applications (COIA-2022), will be held on 24-26 August, 2022 in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan. The previous conferences were held in Baku, Azerbaijan (COIA-2005, COIA-2008), Ankara, Turkey (COIA-2011), Borovets, Bulgaria (COIA-2013) and Baku, Azerbaijan (COIA-2015, COIA-2018, COIA-2020). The 8th International Conference on Control and Optimization with Industrial Applications (COIA-2022) is aimed to provide a forum where the researchers and students from academic environment and universities can meet the specialists from industry to share ideas to discuss recent results on all aspects of control and optimization with a wide range of applications. Plenary talks in COIA-2022 will be presented by well-known scholars. The Conference is mainly supported by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The workshop is intended as a meeting place for mathematicians and physicists interested in related areas of Differential Geometry, Representation Theory and Theoretical Physics motivated by Supersymmetry. The goal of the workshop is to present new results as well as create an open environment for a fruitful exchange of ideas.

This masterclass aims at offering an entrance door to the wide field of relative trace formulas, from different perspectives and with different applications ranging from representation theory to analytic number theory. Relative trace formulas are fundamental tools, and we bring together world-class experts to make them shine. The school will consist of three lecture series supplemented by problem sessions and further talks all related to different aspects of this area. The masterclass is mostly intended to graduate students and young researchers, but everyone interested in relative trace formulas is welcome!

The conference will cover several areas of current research, including low-dimensional topology, gauge theory, and Floer homology in all its flavors. It is partly intended to celebrate the mathematical contributions of Tomasz Mrowka. The DEADLINE for applications is FEBRUARY 28, 2022.

The Mathematics Education for the Future Project was founded in 1986 as an educational, non-commercial and philanthropic initiative to encourage and promote innovation in mathematics, science, statistics and computer education. Since 1999 we have held 15 international conferences which were renowned for their friendly and productive atmosphere and were attended by many movers and shakers in education world-wide. The summer school will feature mini-courses by Joshua Greene, Jen Hom, Francesco Lin, John Pardon (to be confirmed) and Thomas Walpuski, covering topics in low-dimensional topology, Floer homology, and gauge theory. The school will be followed by a research conference the week after. The DEADLINE for applications is FEBRUARY 28, 2022.

In view of the current pandemic, the organizers have decided to delay the conference by one year. It will now take place in 2022. Groups St Andrews 2022 is organized by the University of St Andrews and Newcastle University. It will take place in Newcastle between Saturday 30th July (arrival day) and Sunday 7th August 2022 (departure day). The talks will happen from 31st July until 6th August 2022 (inclusive). The conference, the eleventh in the series of Groups St Andrews Conferences, aims to cover all aspects of group theory. The short lecture courses are intended to be accessible to postgraduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and researchers in all areas of group theory.
