EMS School on Mathematical Modelling, Numerical Analysis, and Scientific Computing in June 2025
EMS School on Mathematical Modelling, Numerical Analysis, and Scientific Computing 2025 The EMS School on Mathematical Modelling, Numerical Analysis, and Scientific Computing is set to take place in Kácov, Czech Republic, from June 15 to June 20, 2025.

Organized under the auspices of the European Mathematical Society (EMS) and the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University Prague, the event is organized by the Nečas Center for Mathematical Modelling.
The aim of the school is to promote the interaction of mathematical modeling, analysis, and computational methods used in solving complex problems. Designed for a broad multidisciplinary audience, the school features four distinguished speakers, each delivering a series of three in-depth lectures (70 minutes each). In addition to these talks, participants will have opportunities to engage in discussions and share their insights.
The 2025 invited speakers include:
- Johnny Guzmán (Brown University, USA)
- Daniel Kressner (EPFL, Switzerland)
- Olga Mula (TU Eindhoven, Netherlands)
- Thomas Surowiec (Simula Research Laboratory, Norway)
A key highlight of the school is the opportunity for participants to present their research and receive feedback from experts in the field.
Registration and Abstract Submission
Interested participants are encouraged to register and submit abstracts by April 30, 2025. Registration is now open at the official website, where additional details about the venue, schedule, and program are available.
This event is an excellent platform for researchers, scholars, and students looking to deepen their understanding of mathematical modeling and computational techniques while connecting with leading experts in the field.
