EMS endorses the joint UK/Ireland bid to host the IMU GA and ICM in 2030

The EMS is delighted to endorse the joint UK/Ireland bid to host the IMU General Assembly and ICM in 2030, where the organisers have constructed a wonderful opportunity for the international mathematical community to come together at a European ICM. The chair of the bid team, Professor Michael Wemyss, recently presented the bid at the EMS Presidents Meeting in Lisbon, where it received a very positive and enthusiastic response.
