The prize aims to encourage interdisciplinary work at the intersection of mathematics and artificial intelligence, reflecting AMR's belief that these fields have significant contributions to make to each other.

Nominations are being accepted until September 30, 2025, and should be sent to aiprize@amathr.org with a brief description of the nominee's qualifications and relevant research. The award will be granted based entirely on research quality, with candidates from anywhere in the world eligible for consideration. The winner will be chosen by a selection committee appointed by the AMR. More information can be found at the AMR website.
