Published on 14 October 2026, the proceedings bring together 45 contributions from the congress, including extended versions of seven plenary, ten prize, 27 invited and one public lecture.
Edited by Guillermo P. Curbera, María Luz Puertas and Alfonso Suárez-Llorens, the volume provides a lasting record of the scientific programme, covering a broad range of mathematical research.
The 1,160-page volume is published open access by EMS Press. Individual articles can be read online, and the complete book is available as a free PDF download. A printed edition is also available.

The EMS YouTube channel now also features recordings from 9ECM, including all ten plenary lectures, the Abel Lecture by Avi Wigderson, the Hirzebruch Lecture by Étienne Ghys, and the opening and award ceremony.
The recordings have been edited into individual lectures and organised into playlists, making it easier to find specific speakers and topics.
Several of the recorded plenary lectures also have corresponding articles in the proceedings, with direct links included in the video descriptions.

The EMS thanks the 9ECM organisers and the University of Seville TV for providing the recordings.
More from the ECM video archive
Recordings from the 8th European Congress of Mathematics (8ECM), held in Portorož, Slovenia, in June 2021, are also accessible through the EMS YouTube channel.
More than 80 videos from the original 8ECM YouTube channel have been organised into seven EMS playlists, including plenary and invited lectures, prize and special lectures, public lectures, ceremonies and panel discussions.
Together, these collections make recordings from previous European Congresses of Mathematics easier to discover and revisit.
