On March 14, 2025, UNESCO will commemorate the International Day of Mathematics (IDM) by hosting a webinar titled Mathematics, Art, and Creativity. Scheduled from 14:00 to 15:30 CET, this online event will bring together experts, educators, and artists to explore the intersection of mathematics with artistic expression and innovative teaching methods.

Mathematics has long played a crucial role in inspiring creativity, from intricate geometric patterns in historical architecture to the digital art of today. In education, it fosters analytical thinking, problem-solving, and fresh approaches to learning. The webinar will showcase how mathematical ideas shape creative disciplines and enhance modern teaching practices. By integrating math with the arts, the event aims to highlight its broader impact on culture, education, and innovation.
