Your Responsibilities -Research in the field of applied mathematics with special emphasis on partial differential equations -Collaboration in the Applied Analysis working group -Independent organisation of courses, supervision of students and holding of examinations -Participation in organisational and administrative tasks Your Profile -Doctoral degree in a mathematical field of study -Very good knowledge in the analysis of partial differential equations -Knowledge of modelling and numerics of partial differential equations (desirable) -A number of relevant publications appropriate to the curriculum vitae -Very good knowledge of English -High personal motivation for scientific excellence -High interest in diverse fields of application, e.g. molecular biology, life sciences, physics, ... -Team, organisational and communication skills -Ability to work independently -Didactic aptitude for independent teaching
