Tenure-Track Researcher in Mathematical Analysis (MATH-03/A) – Call 2026RTT05

The Department of Mathematics “Tullio Levi-Civita” at the University of Padua invites applications for one full-time, fixed-term tenure-track researcher position under Call 2026RTT05. Academic discipline group: 01/MATH-03 – Mathematical Analysis, Probability and Mathematical Statistics Academic discipline: MATH-03/A – Mathematical Analysis The appointment has a duration of six years. Applicants must hold a PhD or an equivalent qualification. The successful candidate will conduct research in areas consistent with MATH-03/A Mathematical Analysis and will be expected to publish in internationally prestigious scientific journals. The appointee will teach basic and advanced courses in Mathematics in both Italian and English and will participate in the organization of the Department’s scientific, educational, institutional and Third Mission activities. The overall annual commitment for teaching, supplementary teaching and student services is 350 hours. Teaching assignments will be determined annually by the Department in accordance with the University regulations. A maximum of 12 publications may be submitted, including the PhD thesis if presented. Adequate knowledge of English will be assessed during the oral examination. Candidates may request that the discussion of their qualifications and scientific work be conducted in English.
