Research Position (m/f/d) (Postdoc) in Biomathematics

The position is based in the area of stochastic models in biology and biochemistry. The former focus on genealogical processes under various combinations of evolutionary forces such as mutation, selection, and recombination (until December 2026, they shall be worked on within Project C1 of CRC 1283); the latter refers to probability distributions of combinatorial structures, which are relevant for biological macromolecules (such as RNA secondary structures, for example). Your Tasks * research on stochastic models in biology and biochemistry (100%, from January 1, 2027: 70%) from January 1, 2027: * teaching (4 LVS, 25%) * participation in the organisational and administrative tasks of the group (5 %) Employment is conducive to scientific qualification and provides the opportunity for further academic development. Your Profile We expect * completed scientific university degree (e. g.
