Postdoctoral Research Fellow

The position involves conducting a research project in the area of Conley Theory and topological invariants associated with continuous flows, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dahisy Valadão de Souza Lima. The research will be conducted at the Center of Mathematics, Computation and Cognition (CMCC), Federal University of ABC, Santo André, Brazil. The postdoctoral fellow will be expected to: - Develop original research in Topological Dynamical Systems and publish the results in high-quality journals; - Participate in the life of the center, contributing to scientific meetings and short courses; - Interact with graduate students and engage in activities related to supervision, under the guidance of the supervising faculty member. Mandatory requirements: Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Geometry/Topology or a related field by the start date of the fellowship, and must have obtained their doctoral degree no more than 7 years prior to application. Desirable requirements: Familiarity with Conley Theory, the topology of singular spaces, and a track record of publications in peer-reviewed international journals.
