We are seeking two postdocs in quantum information and mathematical optimization to work in the group of Felix Huber (https://huberfe.github.io/) at the University of Gdańsk. The positions are part of the QuantERA projects SDPCode and ToDiQT and will benefit from significant exchange with the project partners. Possible research topics are: - bounds on quantum codes (LDPC, spherical, magic state distillation codes) - randomized rounding algorithms for ground states, quantum codes, and tensor-networks - device independent certification of quantun codes and error correction protocols Applicants are expected to have a significant research record in a relevant field. The deadlines for applications are 1 and 30 September 2026 respectively, but later applications may also be considered. The positions are offered for 2 years, with a salary of approx. 140’000 PLN gross / year and generous travel funding. The positions includes Polish social security coverage, including health insurance.
