PostDoc position in number theory

Responsibilities - Research within a project of the Austrian Science Fund FWF. - Topics: continued fractions, Diophantine approximation, analytic number theory, with connections to harmonic analysis, probability theory, geometry. - Participation in seminars, conferences, summer schools, etc. - Project leader: Christoph Aistleitner. Admission Requirements - This is a 2 year positition. - You must have a PhD degree in mathematics. If you don't have a PhD degree right now, there must be a clear perspective of having it at the time when the employment starts. - Start of employment: preferred between August and October 2025. Earliest possible date is 1st August, 2025. - This position does not contain any teaching duties (but teaching is possible, if desired). - Application has to contain: CV including list of publications, copy of the PhD thesis, motivation letter with a description of particular mathematical knowledge and interests.
