The project aims to explore and strengthen the theoretical and practical relationships between special classes of functions — such as bent, plateaued, and almost perfect nonlinear (APN) functions — and the design of linear codes with prescribed properties useful for cryptography, including minimal, self-orthogonal, LCD and optimal codes. The research focuses on: - Studying algebraic and combinatorial links between Boolean/vectorial functions and linear codes; - Constructing new families of linear codes derived from known or newly designed functions; - Analysing code parameters, weight distributions, and dual structures.
