Postdoctoral Position in Low dimensional Topology — University of Vienna The research group of Professor Vera Vértesi at the University of Vienna invites applications for a 2-year postdoctoral position (with the possibility of a 1-year extension) within the framework of the FWF project “Contact Topology in Dimensions 3 and Higher.” The preferred starting date is September 2026. There are no teaching duties associated with this position. The annual gross salary (approximately €87,220) is determined according to the FWF salary scale. We are seeking a mathematician with a PhD and a strong and engaging research profile in low-dimensional topology, particularly in contact and symplectic topology and/or Heegaard Floer homology.
