PhD Position in Number Theory

The young researcher will work under supervision of Aleksander Simonič. The young researcher will work in analytic number theory, with a focus on the Riemann zeta-function and related Dirichlet L-functions, especially on questions concerning their values, logarithmic derivatives, zeros in and near the critical strip, and the implications of these phenomena for the distribution of prime numbers. This research area offers a strong entry point into modern number theory.
