Full time, 3-year fixed term position, located on the Camperdown Campus at the School of Mathematics and Statistics Opportunity to make significant contributions to teaching and learning practice, design and evaluation while continuing to build research expertise Base Salary, Academic Level B A$127,436–$151,328 + 17% superannuation About the opportunity The School of Mathematics and Statistics is currently seeking a Lecturer in Applied Mathematics who will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to teaching and learning design, delivery, and evaluation in pure mathematics while continuing to build research contribution, expertise, connections, and impact. Your key responsibilities will be to: • work closely with other School members in dynamical systems, computational mathematics, or related areas • conduct high-quality research in dynamical systems, computational mathematics, or related areas • teach graduate and undergraduate courses in applied mathematics for students from different disciplinary backgrounds • supervise and coordinate graduate and undergraduate students • apply for external funding.
