Full Professorship (W3) in Mathematical Statistics

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Konstanz, Germany, invites applications for a Full Professorship (W3) in Mathematical Statistics, Reference No. 2026/076. We are seeking an outstanding scientist in mathematical statistics, with a research profile in the statistical analysis of stochastic processes, the mathematical foundations of data science, or related areas of mathematical statistics. The position is to be filled by 1 October 2027. The successful candidate will represent mathematical statistics in research and teaching, contribute to the existing degree programmes in Mathematics and Financial Mathematics and to the planned “Mathematical Data Science” programme, and engage in collaborative research and curriculum development.
