7 postdoc positions in Analysis

7 OPEN POSITIONS on the FIS project SingMeas: Singular Structures in the Geometry of Measures: decompositions, rigidity, and rectifiability. For each position, the initial duration is one year. The first four positions listed below are renewable until 31 January 2029, whereas the fifth position is for one year only and is not renewable. Postdoctoral appointments -1 postdoctoral position. Gross salary per year: EUR 42,850, corresponding roughly to a net salary per year of 30.000 (39.000 with tax relief*). Please note that this is only indicative, and the actual net amount may vary depending on individual circumstances. Requirement: educational background strongly aligned with the project. -1 postdoctoral position. Gross salary per year: EUR 35,700, corresponding roughly to a net salary per year of 27.000 (33.000 with tax relief*). Please note that this is only indicative, and the actual net amount may vary depending on individual circumstances. No specific field constraint beyond general suitability for the project. *For anyone who, at the time the contract begins, has been working outside Italy for at least the previous 2 years (regardless of Italian citizenship), it will be possible to access a tax relief scheme (“Rientro dei Cervelli”). Research appointments (Eligibility: candidates must have obtained their Master’s degree no more than 6 years before the application deadline. A PhD is not necessary for these positions) -2 research positions. Gross salary per year: EUR 38.100, corresponding to a net salary of EUR 2,800 per month. Requirement: educational background strongly aligned with the project. -2 research positions. Gross salary per year: EUR 31.200, corresponding to a net salary of EUR 2,300 per month. No specific field constraint beyond general suitability for the project. -1 research position. Gross salary per year: EUR 22.700 corresponding to a salary of EUR 1,670 per month. This position is addressed to candidates who obtained their Master’s degree at most 1 year before the application deadline. Timeline: The application deadline is 8 January 2026. The expected starting date is 1 February 2026, or shortly thereafter. Although the call specifies a “latest possible contract start date,” this date should be regarded as indicative only. A short postponement of the contract start (up to one or two months) may be possible by mutual agreement.
