2.2.7 Liaison persons
Any EC member may also be a liaison assigned to a standing committee or EMYA (hereinafter referred to collectively as the “assigned committee” in this section). The liaison in particular:
- attends the meetings of the assigned committee as far as possible;
- reports to the EC on the assigned committee activities and brings to the EC attention any organizational or financial need arising within the assigned committee;
- notifies the assigned committee of any decision of the EC relevant to the assigned committee and any of specific task requested by the EC and supervises that all such decisions and tasks are carried out in a timely and effective manner;
- assists the assigned committee in formulating their terms of reference and oversees that the committee follows them;
- in cooperation with the assigned committee, prepares proposals for the renewal of the assigned committee before the autumn meeting of the EC (see Sections 2.3 and 2.3.1).
The liaison is added to the mailing list of the assigned committee.
