The WIAF conference highlights recent, excellent developments on automorphic forms in all aspects. It is specially, but not exclusively, addressed to female mathematicians. Registration is without a free but mandatory. This is a hands‐on workshop and will introduce delegates to the freely available, open‐source and general‐purpose programming language Python ‐ which is one of the most popular programming languages in the world. Python will be used to enhance the teaching and learning of Mathematics at A‐Level and beyond. Delegates need no prior knowledge of programming to benefit from this workshop.

One of the fundamental questions in neuroscience is to understand how network connectivity shapes neural activity. Over the last 10 years, tremendous progress has been made in collecting neural activity and connectivity data, but theoretical advances have lagged behind. This workshop will focus on identifying mathematical challenges that arise in studying the dynamics of learning, memory, plasticity, decision-making, sequence generation, and central pattern generator circuits. Mathematical ideas and approaches from dynamical systems, statistical mechanics, linear algebra, graph theory, topology, and traditional areas of applied mathematics are all expected to play an important role.

Leading experts in some of the main research areas of the Göttingen Mathematical Institute will come together for three intensive days of research talks. Mathematical Physics, Operator Theory, Number Theory, Higher Structures, Topology and Geometry will be represented by plenary speakers and thematic speakers in parallel sessions. Recent developments in mathematics include increasing attention to gender dynamics in academia. A panel discussion and an expert presentation will address this topic. Participants are welcome to apply to contribute a talk.

The aim of the conference is to bring together researchers at the crossroads of algebra and number theory working on dynamic or asymptotic aspects. Limited financial support to cover travel and accommodation costs is available for selected PhD students and postdocs. To apply for financial support, please send a motivation letter and a budget plan before May 2023.

This conference aims to bring together a wide variety of participants and topics applying a variety of mathematical methods with defence and security applications. The programme will include invited speakers, presentations and poster sessions, as well as refreshment breaks for informal discussions. It is aimed towards mathematicians, scientists and engineers from both industry and academia, in addition to government and military personnel who have an interest in how mathematics can be applied to defence and security problems.

The International Conference on Sustainable Development is organized by the European Center of Sustainable Development in collaboration with CIT University. The 11th ICSD 2023 is inspired from the critical challenge of Statistics, environmental, and economic sustainability concerning the present and future generations in a global-scale context.
