SUMMARY:International Conference on Differential Equations\, Optimization T
echniques\, and their Industrial Applications (DEOTIA26)
DTSTAMP:20260516T195300Z
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20260602
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20260606
DESCRIPTION:The University of Aveiro\, with the support of the projects ILL
IANCE and NEXUS\, and the Portuguese Mathematical Society (SPM)\, is pleas
ed to organize DEOTIA26\, to be held from 3–7 June 2026 in Aveiro\, Portug
al. We warmly invite you to participate.\n\nIn an era driven by complex sy
stems and data-intensive challenges\, the synergy between differential equ
ations\, optimization techniques\, and computational modeling plays a pivo
tal role in shaping scientific and technological progress. The conference
DEOTIA26 serves as a premier forum for mathematicians\, engineers\, and in
terdisciplinary researchers to share novel insights\, theoretical developm
ents\, and practical applications that bridge mathematics with real-world
problem-solving. The event highlights the transformative power of analytic
al and numerical methods across diverse domains\, emphasizing innovation\,
efficiency\, and sustainability. We mainly consider three key thematic ar
eas:\n\nMathematical Foundations: This thematic area explores the theoreti
cal aspects of differential equations\, variational principles\, and optim
ization theory. It focuses on analytical methods and the development of ne
w mathematical theoretical directions.\n\nComputational and Numerical Meth
ods: This thematic area centers on algorithmic approaches and computationa
l strategies for solving complex differential and optimization problems. T
opics include numerical simulation\, machine learning-assisted optimizatio
n\, and big data computational systems.\n\nSolutions and Interdisciplinary
Applications: This thematic area focuses on applying mathematical tools t
	o real-world scenarios in engineering\, physics\, biology\, economics\, an
d environmental sciences with special focus in Logistics and Manufacturing
—demonstrating how mathematical modeling drives innovation and decision-m
	aking across disciplines.
