DESCRIPTION:The University of Aveiro\, with the support of the projects ILL
	IANCE and NEXUS\, and the Portuguese Mathematical Society (SPM)\, is pleas
	ed to organize DII26\, to be held from 3–7 June 2026 in Aveiro\, Portugal.
	 We warmly invite you to participate.\n\nAs industries evolve amidst rapid
	 digital transformation\, the convergence of theoretical rigor\, artificia
	l intelligence\, and human-centered design is unlocking new frontiers in p
	roductivity\, resilience\, and innovation. The conference DII26 serves as 
	a dynamic platform for researchers\, practitioners\, and technologists to 
	explore the latest advancements in industrial systems and their socio-tech
	nical impact\, implemented through data-driven approaches. We mainly consi
	der three Industrial sectors:\n\nPrimary Sector: This sector involves extr
	acting and harvesting raw materials from the natural environment. Examples
	 include agriculture\, fishing\, mining\, and forestry.\nSecondary Sector:
	 This sector focuses on manufacturing and construction\, using raw materia
	ls from the primary sector to create finished goods. Examples include fact
	ories\, construction sites\, and refineries.\nTertiary Sector: This sector
	 provides services to support the production and distribution of goods\, a
	s well as to consumers. Examples include retail\, logistics and transporta
	tion\, and healthcare.\nThe conference brings together a multidisciplinary
	 community to present and discuss cutting-edge developments across some to
