DESCRIPTION:Evolutionary PDEs play a crucial role in the description of cou
	ntless physical processes. The numerical treatment of these time-dependent
	 problems is challenged by plenty of difficulties such as\, the propagatio
	n of singularities\, the preservation of structural properties\, oscillato
	ry and multi-scale behaviour as well as the high-dimensionality of the var
	iables involved. This seminar focuses on dynamical parametric approaches t
	o approximate the solution of certain classes of PDEs at time t. The semin
	ar will consist of a series of roughly ten lectures and accompanying group
	 work. We plan to address the following topics: (1) time-dependent variati
	onal principle\, (2) approximation properties of decoder functions\, (3) t
	ime integration\, (4) practical aspects\, e.g.\, optimization\, sampling\,
