	s the top international academic conference on basic science hosted by Chi
	na\, focusing on three major basic science fields of mathematics\, theoret
	ical physics\, and theoretical computer and information science. The confe
	rence will present the Lifetime Achievement Award in Basic Science and the
	 Frontier Science Award. Among them\, the International Lifetime Achieveme
	nt Award in Basic Science is the first international award in the field of
	 basic science presented by China. The International Congress of Basic Sci
	ence was initiated by the renowned mathematician Shing-Tung Yau and chaire
	d by him. It is co-hosted by the Beijing Municipal Government\, the Minist
	ry of Science and Technology\, the Chinese Association for Science and Tec
	hnology\, and the World Federation of Chinese Mathematicians. It is jointl
	y hosted by the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission\, the 
	Zhongguancun Science Park Administration\, the Beijing Science and Technol
	ogy Association\, the Beijing Huairou District Government\, the Beijing Hu
	airou Science City Management Committee\, and the Beijing Yanqi Lake Appli
	ed Mathematics Research Institute.
