SUMMARY:ICERM Workshop: Numerical Analysis of Multiphysics Problems
DTSTAMP:20260330T195000Z
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20240212
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20240216
DESCRIPTION:This workshop will focus on recent trends in the field of numer
ical methods for multiphysics problems that include the development of mon
olithic approaches\, structure preserving discretizations\, geometrically
	unfitted methods\, data-driven techniques\, and modern algebraic methods f
or the resulting linear and nonlinear discrete systems. The topics of inte
rest include models and discretizations for fluid - elastic structure inte
	raction\, non-Newtonian fluids\, phase field models for fluid mixtures\, b
ulk-surface coupled problems\, and biological flows. The workshop will als
o address emerging topics in scientific computing such as randomized algor
ithms\, tensor methods\, and structured numerical linear algebra methods\,
with the goal to better understand advances they offer for multiphysics p
	roblems.
